Is Summer Here or Spring Still Around?
1) Ipod Battery Life - So my ipod battery life is finally winding down. It has been recommended to buy a new ipod. I do have a 3G ipod with no video option, but this one has served me well and for 200 or so dollars less, I can get a replacement battery. But then I might want to watch a movie or two on my ipod one time while I'm on the plane and won't be able to because I am stuck with this 3G ipod w/dock connector. Maybe I'll wait awhile, until the battery is completely up or perhaps give it some tune juice.
2) Black Folk Don't Like No Country - Music is music people. Since when did music become about race. Music is what keeps us all going. W/O it where would we be. For someone to say that is ignorance. It is as ignorant as other comments peeps make regarding pop culture, the hip hop generation, and other things. If you don't like country, don't listen. But please don't say that Black folk don't listen to country cause there are plenty out there buying up Martina McBride and Little Big Town records and line dancing to "Watermelon Crawl."
3) An Invitation 2 A 5-Yr Reunion - I got a letter in the mail (or invitation rather) inviting me to a 5 yr reunion with my high school peers. Sounds fun. I might consider going if I'm in the LA area around the time of the reunion. Although, 5 yrs isn't too long, maybe if it were a 10 yr one I'd be more inclined to go.
4) The Seasons - Does Summer really bring a new mood? I guess if you feel like changing your attitude, you will. If not, well, then don't. The weather is kinda cool for it to be summer, I am just happy to be in Cali for a few days avoiding that Louie humidity.
5) Freedom Writers - I got around to watching it. Very good movie. Got it through Netflix (shameless plug for them). Next on the list....Smokin Aces probably or Stomp The Yard (nope didn't go to see it). I should be getting that white & red envelope in the mail this week. Yippee skippee.
