Kyle Last Name Jarmon

At last, a blog. It's been awhile, but I have been taking my time gathering my thoughts.....who am I kidding, I just haven't had the time to type blogger.com, sorry for all of you 2 out there who read this....or should I say 3. Anyway, so I felt it was time to compose another interesting blog from the depths of my mind.

1) Pump Up The Volume
Why is the volume turned down on BET? I cannot enjoy the BET Awards because there is no sound. What is the problem with Howard electronics? I think Howard needs to take a special trip to Radio Shack and get the stuff they need. They would be able to fix a many thing if they simply fixed the stuff. What is the deal? No radio station, no volume on BET, occasional phone and internet problems. I sigh as I am forced to watch some other crap that is on television(not saying that BET isn't crap, because it is, but I do enjoy the awards, hopefully they'll replay them soon)

2) Deliver Us From People
It is time for each and every one of us to ask and seek God to deliver us from people. I am so tired of people trying to please others instead of being satisfied with who they are and live life. I used to dwell in the pit of wondering what others thought of me, but not anymore simply because it is not important. There are people who spend their days wondering what others think of them and what others are saying. Who cares? I have developed the WHO ARE YOU syndrome. I simply ask myself who are you? You are in the same boat as me. You go to the same university as me, and yet our circumstances and situations may be different, we are still the same person. People spend their whole life trying to please others and live up to some standard - why? And if you are denying that you do - then you probably are so brainwashed into thinking what others think of you that you are blinded by it. I suggest you seek God for answers as to how you can be delivered from people. It is time.

3) Letting Go of The Past & Pursuing A Propserous Future
There are some of you who are dealing with STUFF. Stuff that you will not let go off be it past relationships, friendships, disappointments and issues. All of these issues need to be uprooted and purged. I am sick of people telling me that life sucks. It doesn't. You make your life no one else, plain and simple. You can choose to ignite the negativity in your life but it does not do anything but suck your energy and others too. I have learned a lot about people, specifically what happened right before the summer. People aren't what they seem, people have their own agendas and people mask themselves as good but instead are in no way anything positive. Take it anyway you want, I could care less what you think. If you are offended, you may be one of those I am speaking of. I was told that many of us think that we are losing friends, but really it is God who is revealing to us who was with us and who wasn't.

4) All You Do & Say Is About God
Since when has it become a crime to talk about God or quote scripture. I am bewildered and flabbergasted at the fools who criticize me for finally finding God and being saved by his mercy and grace. I have been called everything from a Jesus freak to a God lover. SO? If you got ahold of his truth, you'd be a Jesus freak too. They tell me Kyle, you are still the same person, but stop talking about Jesus. Well, not quite. I am still Kyle, but I have a different outlook on things and I can talk about Jesus as much as I want to and if you have a problem with that, then I suggest you deal with it and exit my presence. I do not let things control me, nor do I find that life is anymore sucking. I have found a state of peace that many have not yet found. I was listening to TD Jakes the other day and he asked the questions: Why Do You Want To Live? and What Are You Living For? I had to seriously ask myself what is my purpose and Rick Warren simply did not clarify well what I am living for. I know I am here to do something, otherwise I'd be ashes and dust right now and up there praising The King of Kings but I am still here. I know that I have a desire to become an entertainment lawyer but is that all I am destined to be. I added those away messages to my preferences in AIM and I have been getting comments on it. Don't answer the question to me....answer it for yourself. Search yourself and find out the answer. Yeah, I'm high on Jesus - and I am on a different level, one that I thought I'd never reach. But don't be mad that I found Jesus, find him for yourself.

5) New R&B Music
I currently have two favorite R&B songs right now: "Atmosphere" by Samson and "Charlie Last Name Wilson" by Charlie Wilson. I found a new appreciation for these songs when I went to Chicago for my cousin's graduation. I don't know why but I really like these songs especially the last one probably because it's so catchy. If I am not listening to that I am listening to Donald Lawrence or Common. I suggest you go and pick up Common's BE. Common is the truth and is definitely a force to be wreckoned with in the rap scene. I am right now listening to Charlie Last Name Wilson once again, I think this is the #6 time, now. One other thing, if you've never been to the Chi, I suggest you go and visit. It is quite nice especially Lakeshore Drive.

That's it for today. Check back tomorrow for another interesting blog from the depths of my mind.

Life has many parts, life has many parts, life has many parts, I said, life has many parts.
