It has been a little while.....here it goes.

1) American Idol Season ? - Is it just me or has American Idol lost its flair? I have watched this season thus far and after watching all of last season, I am wondering if people are just watching it because there isn't anything else on besides those CBS dramas, a few dry comedies on NBC and reality tv. I was surprised to see Stephanie leave last week over Sanjaya. There is much talk about the survival of many shows on tv. Have people turned to other forms of media for their entertainment? I think people are starting to get sick of television, even cable has been lacking lately.

2) Soul Train Award Missing Recipients - For the first time in a long time, many of the award winners were absent. I hadn't seen anything like this on an award show in awhile. I am wondering if there is talk about cancelling Soul Train due to its shift to mid afternoons on Saturdays (having previously been in the morning). They did that bull to Apollo and it has managed to survive and plus they are showing classic Soul Train eps. Perhaps they are searching for a new host. We shall c.

3) Finding Comfort & Solace in Soy Products - Many people seem to frown upon soy burgers, soy chicken, soy this and soy that. After reading and hearing much about the benefits of soy, I have added it to my diet. I have found an appreciation for soy milk and soy energy bars. I am not a big fan of soy bacon or burgers, but I hear they are a big hit among vegans and people on special diets and with all the rubbish and crap they put in meat nowadays, who can blame mr. soybean for getting a thumbs up.

4) Past Lives, Are They Real or Imagination? - I have wondered about the idea of reincarnation. It has always been frowned upon by Christianity. The whole idea that this isn't the first time we've been here damages many of my Christian beliefs. I am one for knowledge, so I am going to research this further and see just if I have had some past lives. Many new agers have written about reincarnation and there is much controversy about the concept of reincarnation being taken out of the Bible. I am curious to know if and why this was taken out, so I will be investigating this. Perhaps I'll phone Inspector Gadget, maybe he can help.

5) Can You Really Win $$ From a TV Show? - I was reading online about many angry viewers of the Game Show Network tv shows where you can phone into win and whether or not they are scams. I personally do not think they are but I have entered many times and haven't won a dime. I have sent a few texts into Deal or No Deal as well, to no avail. Hmm, makes you wonder if they are just in it for the profit. After all nothing is free in this world. For now, I'll keep my GWs and put them towards something profitable.
