NO Posts Until Now....
1) Harry Potter Madness - I am convinced that HP has a bigger following than many cult things have had in the past. I personally am neutral to the whole wizardry thing partly because it is taboo in the church and religious community unless of course, you are a New Age believer. With the last book plot being leaked before the book hits the stands, I am still shocked that many people do not know how the HP saga ends. I guess they are treating it like people treat serials, miniseries and soaps, they'd rather not have spoilers.
2) Coffee & Headaches - I for one have headaches periodically as do many and have found that the drinking the coffee recommendation solves the pain in the noggin. Of course, coffee does stain the teeth, affects the breath and is a stimulant. I make it interesting by drinking two cans of Starbucks Espresso. That always does the trick - by stopping the headache and keeping me up at all hours of the night.
3) A Six Flags Tragedy - Okay, so a girl got her feet chopped off by a wire from a Superman ride in Kentucky and now people are refusing to get on it. How many people have stopped living due to other tragedies in the world? Not to downplay the tragedy of losing your feet but we cannot and should not live in fear, nor stop living. I probably won't be getting on any freefall rides 4 awhile, although, now might be a good time to ride it because they got their "s**t 2gether.
4) Rissi Palmer from STL - A Black country singer? Yep, and she's cute and damn good too. I for one am hoping she does better than Cowboy Troy (the hick hop rapper, who has been shunned by many radio stations saying he is just another southern rapper like Ludacris and TI who wears a cowboy hat and puts out radio friendly and Radio Disney-esque music. I for one support Black folks in their efforts especially in music. But I wish Rissi the best. Check out her song, Country Girl on YouTube. It is memorable and will give you a different impression on country music.
Life has many parts, some have to fade in order for us to have new ones.
